The theme of this, the third dedicated Big Eco Show is Connections, Conversations and Collaborations. Our aim is to showcase great businesses based in the North East who have a green(er) agenda, provide an opportunity for you all to network and ultimately do business together.
Following registration, we're delighted that the Show will be opened at 10.15 am by Gareth Kane, a leading sustainability expert from Terra Infirma. He'll hand over to Paul Taylor from Camira Fabrics who'll deliver a his keynote address on Sustaining Green Relationships and Making Your Business Grow.
Two interactive group discussions will then begin: you'll have the chance to join in with round table discussions with business leaders from across the North East (click here for more information and to register for the sessions).
Over lunch time, we'll host an informal networking session Connect Friday. We normally 'meet' every Friday on Twitter between 10am-11am to make connections and support each other.
This year we welcome the National Federation of Housing as our key partner who will be running the activities in the afternoon sessions.
Housing associations are very active in implementing the green agenda in the North East. They are keen to ensure that their properties are as energy efficient as possible to both reduce energy bills for tenants and to reduce CO2 emissions.
North East housing associations will be meeting at the Big Eco Show conference to discuss the challenges in implementing the green agenda, to share good practice and to discuss the roll out of green deal.
The Big Eco Show is a great opportunity to link with green organisations and suppliers and the Federation will be hosting an afternoon seminar on housing and the green agenda.
